Progress & plans
Small steps toward a more connected East Texas. Follow the website work, repeater planning, equipment testing, and lessons learned along the way.
Today I researched promising repeater locations in and around Nacogdoches as we plan the next steps for EastTexasMeshNet.
I'm planning to have a mast modified to mount the NAC-RPT-01 repeater on the Fredonia Hotel's roof. The mast modification and repeater installation are upcoming work.
I built meshcore.andydelgado.com to give the project a home and make it easier to share MeshCore information, equipment ideas, and progress updates.
I also recorded the presentation I gave Tuesday evening at the Nacogdoches Amateur Radio Club and uploaded it to YouTube. If you missed the meeting or want another look, you can watch it on the Learn page.
I picked up a donated repeater that I plan to reflash as a MeshNode repeater and install at a later date.
